In March 2023, Microsoft stopped the previous introductory offer for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, just to bring it back about three months later. The offer also counted for the PC version of Game Pass. Since its launch in 2017, as a new user you were able to test the service for one month for just $1 instead of paying the full (old) price of $14.99. Xbox Game Pass is a monthly subscription service offered by Microsoft that gives you access to hundreds of games and Xbox cloud streaming.
